The Baron was a major donor to Corvus University. With his backing, I was able to secured some of my findings on the Spider Folk in the Mythago Woods. I will miss the old bean. I wonder if still has my book I sent him?

The Last Chance Inn And Tavern (A NAL IFGS Game)

To my esteem Colleges, I write to you from the southern jungles of Malavar in search of lost tribes, lizard men, and ancient treasures. As you know I have decided to take refuge in The Caravanserai of Katra for a night. Along the way I met with my old guide Domiri, a Wilding Monk and my childhood friend Skymane the Faun, to help with the strange flora and Fauna that we might encounter. Apparently it is the rainy season, down here, as most of our supplies are ruined or water log from the journey. But Old Barneys maps were accurate,and kept us clear of any dangers. We were able to find the the garrison and the Last Chance Inn and Tavern, it was a slow night of resupplying and drinking as the rain seemed to kept the locals away on this night. Bryan the barkeep, ex Scout for the Icatian military and his Friend and sever Cam run a nice play. the Food is Spicy and not to my palate but Domiri seem to dig in. A Maor’Lasair Merchant Harry had a nice selection of wares and baubles. I was steadily looking thru his goods until the "Box" Appeared...it was some kind of containment apparatus that the local Demon hunters of Horos had rigged up to hold what we later found out to be a demon named "Darwin" (it is my belief, that "Darwin" might be the name the Hunters gave him, not his true name), the Box it self was made by an expert craftsman and each of the 8 layers were also works of wonder. In solving this Puzzle Box I was aided by My friend Skymane , A highland Caviler,Lady Java(pronounced Jay-va), A Cleric from Avasus, Judaius Oathsworn, and Kava a know pocket liberator. The inn staff seemed more invested in causing Chaos then adding to the help,(on a side note remind me to see what the Grand library has on Changelings, for I wish to be prepared for future meetings.) Also University of Magical Studies in Caldenia is looking into "super natural heritage one there under grades "Alice" is experimenting with potions that can enhance ones heritage to bring latent abilities in ones self to the forefront. Skymane has decided to try the potion. I will watch her and report on those findings. In Closing it has been a interesting time so far in Icatia. As Always, Prof. A. Pendrake
